Boots.
Boots are a great way to mount a Pennsylvania Fireback away from the firewall. Use them alone or integrated with a Sampson Grate, one-piece cast-iron grate, or welded steel grate. The grate legs simply fit into the Boot holes. Boots are sold in pairs and add an additional 2" of height to your fireback.

Stainless Radiant Fireback.
The popularity of this fireback is due to its fine, quality construction. It is lightweight, easy to install, and is excellent for radiating heat back into the room and protecting the firewall. Constructed of 14-ga., 304-alloy stainless steel and weighs about one-sixth of a cast-iron fireback. Stainless radiant firebacks come with slotted legs that allow you to adjust them to three angles: 65°, 75°, and 90°. The support legs are 1" high, 2 3/8" wide, and 9" long.

Firebacks.
Firebacks are designed to protect the back fireplace wall and to radiate more heat into the room. Firebacks are made of the highest quality cast-iron.  They can be leaned against the firewall, or placed in a pair of Boots (shown below) to integrate a Fireback with a fireplace grate. The fireback, Boot, and grate make a beautifully practical, interior hearth hardware set. The Great Oak Fireback always features the current year.
